Who We Are

Covcro Electrical & Plumbing (Pvt) Ltd is a registered Zimbabwean contractor based at No. 20 Lower Hampden Place, Marlborough, Harare.

We carry electrical, solar, water and plumbing in one company. On most sites those trades are three separate contractors, which is where delays and finger pointing come from. One team plans the services together, installs them in the right order and answers for the result.

We work for homeowners, builders, developers, farms, businesses and industrial clients, on jobs ranging from a tripping distribution board to an 11kV line extension and full site reticulation.

How We Work

Quote before we start

An itemised quote covering equipment, labour and exclusions. If the scope changes you hear about it before the work happens, not on the final invoice.

Protection is standard

Isolators, breakers, surge protection, dry-run protection, drip trays and safety valves are part of the installation, not an optional line item to be negotiated away.

Sized, not guessed

Inverters sized on surge as well as running load. Pumps matched to borehole yield and head. Cable sized for the distance it runs.

Tested and labelled

Circuits tested, boards labelled, systems commissioned, and a walkthrough so you can operate your own installation without phoning us.

Equipment we can service

We fit inverters, batteries, pumps and gear we have installed before and can get parts for, so a repair in year three is not a replacement.

Who We Work For

Homeowners

Rewires, board upgrades, lighting, solar backup, borehole and pressure systems, geysers, drainage and the repairs in between. Most of our residential work is in the northern and eastern suburbs, but we cover the whole city.

Builders and developers

Full electrical and plumbing packages on new builds, coordinated with your programme. Getting the first fix into the slab on time is the single biggest thing a services contractor can do for a build.

Businesses and industry

Three phase distribution, control panels, machine connections, warehouse lighting, emergency lighting, commercial plumbing and planned maintenance, scheduled around your production.

Farms and estates

11kV and medium voltage line work, transformer connections, site reticulation, borehole pumping, storage, irrigation mainlines and drip systems. Off-grid solar where the network does not reach.
