About Covcro

Covcro Electrical & Plumbing (Pvt) Ltd is a registered Zimbabwean contractor based in Marlborough, Harare. We install and maintain electrical systems, solar power, boreholes and plumbing for homes, businesses, farms and industry across the country.

Carrying all four trades in one company means the conduit, the pipework and the pump are planned together instead of by three contractors who have never met. One team, one programme, one point of contact.

Which areas do you cover?

We are based in Marlborough and work across all of Harare, including Borrowdale, Mount Pleasant, Avondale, Greendale, Highlands, Glen Lorne, Belvedere, Waterfalls, Chitungwiza, Norton and Ruwa. For commercial, industrial and medium voltage contracts we travel countrywide.

How much does a solar system cost?

It depends on what you need to run and for how long. A backup system for lights, Wi-Fi, TV and a fridge costs far less than one that carries a borehole pump, geyser and air conditioning. We size every system from your actual usage, so we quote after a site visit. Site visits are free within Harare.

Do you install on-grid and off-grid solar?

Yes. We install grid tied and hybrid systems that work alongside your ZESA supply, and fully off-grid systems with lithium battery storage. All installations include the DC and AC protection, surge arrestors and isolators needed to keep the system safe and the warranty valid.

Can you work on 11kV and medium voltage lines?

Yes. We install and maintain 11kV and medium voltage overhead lines, transformer connections and site reticulation for farms, mines, industrial premises and new developments.

Can you do the electrical and the plumbing on one job?

Yes, and it is what most of our clients come to us for. Running the electrical, plumbing, borehole and solar through one contractor means the work is coordinated on site, and you deal with one team and one quote instead of three.

How soon can you come out for a fault?
